Christine Battista, CNTP, MNT is a Master Nutritional Therapist and dietary consultant who specializes in chronic disease and oncology nutrition.
Christine’s life was changed in 2006 when she was diagnosed with stage 4 non-Hodgkin lymphoma. She learned a lot along her journey back to health and is grateful to be able to use that knowledge to help others. Her passion is helping people take the steps to rebalance their health and prevent disease, and her mantra is “Healthy Synergistic Nutrition.”
Christine grew up outside of Philadelphia in a wonderful large Italian family and has been in Colorado most of her adult life. Christine graduated in 2012 from The Nutritional Therapy Institute in Denver.
Shantee Scheel, LMT is a licensed massage therapist and cranialsacral practitioner. She specializes in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Range of Motion, Sports, Hot stone, Prenatal, Neuromuscular Trigger Point Therapy, as well as CranioSacral Therapy.Shantee prides herself on being intuitive and thoughtful of the needs and willingness of the client’s body — taking healing up to the edge of what the body can handle, finding that limit, and working within a safe space for people so they feel nurtured and cared for.
A graduate of the Massage Therapy Institute of Colorado, Shantee teaches anatomy and physiology at the institute when she’s not working with clients. Previously, Shantee was a biology and environmental science teacher as well as a Wilderness Therapy instructor for at-risk youth. Shantee holds a Bachelors of Science in Biology and Women’s Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
Mary Sowell, LMT graduated from the Colorado School of Healing Arts in 2006 and has been one of Denver’s most sought-after massage therapists ever since. Mary constantly strives to find improved ways to help her clients obtain and maintain relief, and her modalities include Swedish, Deep Tissue, Oncology, Lymphatic, ETPS (Electro-Therapeutic Point Stimulation), and cupping therapy. Passionate about massage therapy and the health benefits it offers, Mary is continually attending workshops, conferences, and seminars to further her education and learn about new modalities.
Shay Edmonds is a certified practitioner of Yoga Nidra (guided meditation). Shay’s personal journey into alternative forms of health and wellness started more than a decade ago when a sudden change in vision left him with a debilitating visual impairment. Although his struggles with vision continue today, these challenges have enhanced his Yoga Nidra practice by creating a deep level of compassion, understanding, and intuition. Shay has a passion for yoga science and psychology, and is certified for individuals as well as group sessions of Yoga Nidra. He’s also trained for custom script writing, a unique method of tailoring Yoga Nidra to achieve individual goals.
