Our warm, caring team combines traditional mental health care like psychiatry, medication management, and talk therapy with holistic alternatives and integrative wellness programs.

Aside from our commitment to improving the mental health of our patients and supporting them every step of their journey since 2008, Dr. Beth Ballen was also the first-ever doctor to administer Ketamine Therapy to treat mental health symptoms in the state of Colorado in 2012.
Our practice focuses on an integrative approach by physically bringing together multiple types of treatment from medication management and psychiatry, to talk therapy for all aspects of life, to ketamine infusion therapy, all in one location to provide not only a safe but extremely effective setting to properly treat our patients.
While our practice focuses on the patients we see and those who seek us out, we do our best to stay committed to the community by participating in charity events through offering education about our services, support for families who have a loved one struggling, and more. Second Wind Fund is just one of many organizations we stay connected to to ensure they have the support they need when it comes to living out their mission.
Second Wind Fund has built an innovative program that matches children and youth, ages 19 and younger, who are at risk for suicide and do not have the means or adequate insurance for necessary mental health treatment, with licensed therapists in their local communities or potentially via teletherapy.
Sometimes even finding the right provider can be a barrier. For children and teens who have Medicaid, CHP+, or private insurance that adequately covers mental health treatment, Second Wind Fund can help narrow down a list of therapists who meet the child or teen’s needs bypassing confusing healthcare systems.
